DGM India was promoted by Radharamanan Panicker, Radhika Panicker and Rona Shanu Ponnappa. A Science and Management graduate, Radharamanan Panicker has almost 22 years of experience in the cargo inspection, express cargo, air cargo handling and warehousing. He is an expert in the handling of dangerous goods transport by air with almost 15 years experience in the field. He is an IATA trained and qualified dangerous goods regulation instructor.

Radhika Panicker is an MSc (Chemistry) from Kerala University and has worked for more than eight years with the textile committee as a laboratory assistant.

Rona Shanu Ponnappa is a law graduate who has been in the business of custom house agents and forwarding for almost 12 years.

DGM India was established in April 2005 with DGM Support holding 25% of the equity.

The company started formal operations of its business in March 2006, with it's office at Andheri East, Mumbai, near the air cargo complex.

The day-to-day operations of the company are managed by Daniel Rufus who has more than 15 years of experience in the airline industry. He has worked with Air France, KLM, Cargo Service Center ( a handling company) and the GSA of All Nippon. He is a qualified dangerous goods specialist.
